In ventrilo and in-game we ramble off a lot of abbreviations and acronyms for the games content to make communicating quicker during large events. Obviously this confuses the newbies, so here is a list. More is always being added.

Miscellaneous & Strategies
Techniques and strategies that have been developed over the years. This is what confuses most newbies when they hear “Call chain spotted in VB!” or “BCU are turtling the MS again.”
- Back Camp
- Camp behind the enemy forces, usually in the Dens.
- Call Chain / COH Chain
- Call of Hero chain. This means an M-Gear is hiding and is summoning its formation members past the main defenses.
- Camp
- Forming up around a gate to prevent enemy gears from easily getting into a map.
- Crossfeeding / xfeeding
- Using an alt account that is on the opposite nation to force feed kills to gain NCP.
- Feather/Feathering
- Tapping your spacebar at certain intervals to get a maximum boost speed without overheating.
- Feeding
- Dying repeated and needless deaths. It is called feeding when you continue dying on respawn or have no chance of at least a 1:1 kill death ratio.
- Form
- Formation, the party system for Air Rivals.
- Gate
- Warp gates, where a player spawns in the map.
- MS
- Mothership.
- Reverse Turn & Burn
- Similar to a turn and burn, except Back Move Mach/Turn Around are used as counters to someone else’s turn and burn. Very situational, sometimes difficult to pull of.
- SP
- Strategic Points. Can also reference to Skill Points.
- Turn & Burn
- Technique used when being chased. Hit Turn Around, shoot missiles, and hit Back Move Mach instantly and continue shooting while in the Back Move.
- Turtling
- Hiding from the enemy nation to stop them from gaining NCP, or refusing to kill enemy pilots to not gain NCP.
